EXIT 109 HIGH SCHOOL MINISTRIES!
Exit 109 High School Student gatherings take place regularly on Wednesday evenings starting at 6:30 p.m. going until 8:30 p.m.
Our format uses a teaching rotation that we believe allows students to better grasp the things we talk about. Our rotation usually follows the following pattern:
IN – These consist of a time of corporate worship usually followed by a fairly in- depth style lesson. The night is rounded out with breaking up into age and gender specific D-Groups to apply the concepts learned.
OUT – The purpose of the OUT is to take what was talked about from the week prior and apply it directly to real life. Outs are monthly service projects created to foster environments where students have to step out of their comfort zones and participate in applying what they learned.
AROUND – The premise behind AROUND is that the principle or topic talked about in the IN and the experience of doing it in the Out is all tied together and taught yet again in a different style using different kinds of presentations. AROUND’s are designed to be more of a teaching environment and tend to be light and more fun. They also have more of a D-Group focus where topics are reflected upon centering around what was learned and experienced.
UP – We end out every rotation with an UP. These are intentionally designed to be connection points to foster relationships–not just with each other, but also with their respective Discussion Group leaders. That’s also why they are called D-Group Connect nights. These nights are usually planned by the different D-Group leaders and designed to be fun fellowship nights.
